Help debugging appilcation crash on 6.10 firmwares

Taranis, the weather app for PocketBook devices, has been reported to crash on devices running the 6.10 firmware, see issue #111 on taranis Github project.

Is anyone owning a device running 6.10 firmware (Era color? Verse pro color?) willing to share the output of running taranis from a shell? Meaning share the output of running
Code:
/mnt/ext1/applications/taranis
through PBTerm or a remote shell if SSH server is enabled on the device?

I don't own such device and users reported that no log is generated before the crash...

My app also stopped working on firmware 6.10. Static linking of libraries helped

Yes, looks like the thing to do, but since I've many dynamic libraries (Boost::filesystem, Boost::date_time, Boost::log, Boost::log_setup, Boost::system, Boost::thread, Curl, Jsoncpp, OpenCV), I was hoping to identify the culprit before I get my hands dirty

Did you get a clear understanding of what libraries was the problem with your application?

EDIT: I realize it's not clear whether it's possible to statically link with OpenCV...

Code:
root@pbsdk-B288:/home/matthias/Projets/taranis# find /opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288 -name "libopencv*" -type f
find /opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288 -name "libopencv*" -type f
/opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288/usr/arm-obreey-linux-gnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libopencv_imgproc.so.2.4.13
/opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288/usr/arm-obreey-linux-gnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libopencv_features2d.so.2.4.13
/opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288/usr/arm-obreey-linux-gnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libopencv_highgui.so.2.4.13
/opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288/usr/arm-obreey-linux-gnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libopencv_flann.so.2.4.13
/opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288/usr/arm-obreey-linux-gnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libopencv_video.so.2.4.13

/opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288/usr/arm-obreey-linux-gnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libopencv_photo.so.2.4.13
/opt/SDK-6.8/SDK-B288/usr/arm-obreey-linux-gnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libopencv_objdetect.so.2.4.13

I tried to figure out which library was the problem, but I couldn't find anything. So I linked everything. In my case it's not that many libraries

Hey, I'd love to help out as a person with a PocketBook on 6.10 firmware (Verse Pro), but I have found the process of configuring pbterm and/or the SDK mystifying and difficult to find a tangible guide for someone who's new to this kind of stuff (I did get KoReader installed). Links to a proper installation/ build (I think the currently active version has to be built from source?) guide would be appreciated.
