Can't Convert KFX-ZIP

I have a new book I just purchased from Amazon that says I can't open/convert due to DRM.

What do I need to do to fix this new Amazon problem?

I found a thread that says I need "autorelease version of DeDRM installed". Installed that. Nothing changed.

Kindle Paperwhite 11, FW version 5.18.5.0.1
Calibre 8.14
DeDRM 10.0.9
KFX Input 2.27.1
Gather KFX-ZIP (from KFX Input) 2.27.1
Package KFX-ZIP (from KFX Input) 2.27.1

you have basically 2 options.
1. install a jailbreak on your kindle (requires ads to be enabled), downgrade firmware to somewhere below 5.18.5 and import your ebooks that way (books will be in black and white)
2. using the newest version of the kindle for pc app (windows, v2.8), install a different version of the dedrm plugin and import your books via that new method (which requires some extra steps, but books will be in color)

Or get a Kindle that no longer gets updates. The pre-KFX ones will download AZW3 format, which has color. Many books only have a color image for the cover, and that isn't an issue if you are converting to ePub (or even if you want to replace the cover image in the KFX download).

The PC method will also handle print replica format, should you have any of those.
