Unhappy My Clara BW turned to a literall brick! HELP!

Okay last time I checked was 4 days ago when I booted it up for some solitaire and light reading. The Clara BW at the time was at around 90%. I went to sleep and forget about it. Today I took it out for reading just to discover that it is forever stuck in a screensaver screen.

I tried holding and pressing the button for more than 30s. I tried everything from charging, taking the back off to reattach the battery cable. Still, nothing happens.

I bought the new device about 6 months ago. I live in Vietnam so there s 0 chance for a warranty return. Has this happened before and is there hope for a fix?
Thank youu for reading my meltdown!!

So after an overnight charge, the device's indicator light is just flickering non stop and the screen remained unchanged.

What should I do to fix this?

I take it you have tried the Clara BW manual reset procedure?

Charge for at least one hour and leave your Clara BW connected to the charger.

Hold the power button until Powered Off shows on the screen or 30 seconds whichever comes first.

Release the power button and immediately press it again.

After a few seconds, the power LED should start blinking rapidly. Continue holding the power button until the rapid blinking stops and then release it.

You should now see Restoring showing on the screen.

If this doesn't happen, something is very wrong and your Clara BW is likely an expensive paperweight.

Sometimes it can be really tricky to start the process. Yesterday my Shine5/Clara BW. was stuck in a bootloop. It took over 30 minutes of trial and error until I managed to start the recovery
