Hi everyone

Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce myself.

It is so nice to see such a useful user community. I found this community from a google search about my lost Kindle (see here).I hope every e-book reader device owner will proactively label the device with the owner's first name and phone number just in case it is lost.

It could be worse, like a death in the family or a serious health issue.I am hopeful, if nothing will turn out I will wait for Kindle 2.0

Again thanks to all contributors for the gift of this wonderful community which is proving especially comforting in this time of loss (I know, I got addicted... )

Welcome, Ny1love.

Even without your Kindle, you'll find useful info here. Have you looked at all the free books here? You can read them on your computer until you get your Kindle back.

This place can be addictive, watch out for Monkeys, especially, and the llamas, squirrels, a penguin and various dogs.

Check out the 'lounge' forum for more info. Enjoy.

Hi ny1love and welcome to the Forum.

Bummer about your Kindle. I left my Sony on the treadmill at the gym and didn't realize it till I got to the locker room. I set the land speed record getting back to that treadmill I can tell you and, gratefully, I found it intact. As soon as I got home, I labeled it with my name and number.
