Global Grey Revamp

If you enjoy public domain e-books, you may be familiar with Global Grey. I just found out that Julie is restructuring the site, and most of the fiction categories are being removed to make the site easier to maintain and more aligned with her interests:

In addition to site donations, Julie also allows you to buy the entire e-book collection (2600 books), and currently this option includes all the books that have been removed from the site. It sounds like in the future she is going to remove this option, and you'll only be able to buy the current collection going forward.

If you enjoy the way Julie formats books, this may be your last chance to get a lot of them, so I thought the people here might want to know about the changes.

With Gutenberg and also Standard Ebooks existing, it's probably a good idea for Global Grey to specialise as there is only Julie.

It's her site, she can do what she wants.

I once emailed her about adding OPDS to her site for easier navigation, and surprisingly she wrote back asking if I had any documentation on how to implement it, but sadly I didn't have the technical expertise to help.
