Product registration

Hi,
I live in Madrid, Spain, and bought my psr-505 in a spanish online shop. Now I want to register my product in sony website, but it does not allow me to complete because it says I am not in USA. Also I have try it in USA sony website, but it does not allow me to complete also.

- What are the adventages for registering the device?
- Is there any way I can register it?

Hi.
I am Danish, live in Greenland and bought my prs-505 in Britain. I have registered my ereader on the European Sony website without problems.

I do not know what the actual advantages of registering are.

I don't know of any advantages of registering it, so I'd not worry about it - even the "100 free classics" are available here on MobileRead although typically in a better formatted version than the Sony versions! See the "E-Books" links on the menu bar near the top of the page - a Sony 505/700 will read any of Sony BBeB, ePub or PDF formatted books here.
