Wi-Fi spontaneously stopped working on KL2

The latest firmware update bricked my KL2, so I did a factory reset and updated to the latest. I then installed my customizations: Nickelmenu, KFMon, KOReader. At first, it seemed to work fine (including networking), but now I can't connect to Wi-Fi. I only ever see "No Wi Fi networks found."

Interestingly, Wi-Fi still works in KOReader, just not in the native Kobo environment.

I've tried toggling Wi-Fi, power cycling the Kobo, power cycling the network, deleting Wi-Fi networks from settings (none appear - "Your Kobo eReader has no known networks"), switching my WAP to 2.4 GHz, as well as two different hotspots/air-cards. No network ever appears.

Is there any other trick to getting networking back short of another factory reset?

Here's what I see in syslog:

I also have these customizations in Kobo eReader.conf. Seems like these couldn't be related but I include for completeness:
Code:
[FeatureSettings]
ExcludeSyncFolders=(\\.(?!kobo|adobe).+|([^.][^/]*/)+\\..+)
Screenshots=true

[DeveloperSettings]
AutoUsbGadget=true
Update: I tried a factory reset, and it is *still* not seeing any Wi Fi access points.

Figured out the issue--it was kfmon--so I've started a new thread here.

Good to hear you managed to troubleshoot the problem though that seems to have opened a whole new can of worms.
