Not that I am aware of. A plugin is unlikely to be developed as an official calibre plugin given that Anna's Archive is a pirate site (more politely referred to as a shadow library).

I dont see any actual (as in moral/ethical) issues with using anna's archive purely for metadata, but yes given that the site is a pirate site, I dont think it's suitable for inclusion in calibre core itself, but nothing prevents anybody from creating a third party metadata source plugin for it.

Maybe it depends on your ISP? Of the three UK ISPs I have used in the last few weeks, at least two allow access. (I don't know about the third - I know it blocked torrent sites but I never tried Anna's Archive on it.)

I don't see Anna's Archive as a reliable metadata source. Not talking about moral concerns, mind you, just the quality of their metadata.
