8Bitdo mini + Libra 2 Bluetooth frustrations

Hey all,

I've done what research I can, and left a question on a Kobo subreddit, but without joy. I wonder if anyone here can help.

I've bought an 8bitdo mini for page turning, and set it up as per the normal process. Once I have finished setting it up, and paired with my Libra 2, it works fine. However, the moment either the controller or the bluetooth on the Kobo is turned off, it won't reconnect. Connecting manually returns with a CONNECTION FAILED message. The only thing I can do is re-pair it again, and it works perfectly fine - until either the controller or the bluetooth is turned off again.

I've followed two sets of instructions, both with the same end-point, but with the latter being an installation of a Nickelmenu which includes options to connect to the 8bitdo.

Still, nothing changes the fact that once either the controller or the BT has turned off, it won't reconnect either manually or automatically.

Has anyone see the same thing and found a resolution?

Thanks in advance.
