Tolino shine 2 bricked and nothing works

*Hi everyone, I'm desperately asking for help 😥.*
Some time ago, I broke the micro USB connector on my Tolino Shine 2.
I could no longer charge it, but it still had a bit of battery left, so I went to the update page. Unfortunately, until I fixed the battery issue, I couldn't proceed with the update.
To fix the battery, I built a circuit to charge it directly, and luckily everything went well.
With over 50% battery, I was finally able to download the latest update.
Everything was fine until another problem came up.
To load books, I used to download epub files externally and transfer them via the micro USB cable. Since that's no longer possible, I thought about removing the SD card—and that's when the issues started.
Long story short, the device got bricked.
I tried following some tutorials (https://youtu.be/gbbTgNQOGDE?si=GGh6_amH6U8K5Cs7), pressing all the possible buttons, but it doesn't respond at all. The screen is stuck on the home page, and the power button's LED is on.
I don’t know what to do. If I can’t find a solution, I’ll sadly have to get rid of it and buy a new one.
