Problem editing EPUBs.
About three years ago I upgraded from Kindle 4 possibly (Kindle was bought circa 2012) to a Paperwhite Signature edition, which I am happy with. However when it came to importing the books from my new Kindle to Calibre, the images from files in KFX format only showed up in black and white. Fortunately I had the foresight to save all the files from my old Kindle on to a USB stick so can access those. I am trying to replace the images on the EPUB files I have converted from KFX format with the colour ones I have access to. However occasionally this does not work and when I open the EPUB file I have saved the cover still shows the original black and white image. I have tried resizing the original colour image with Calibre’s edit feature, but even this does not work?

Does Calibe details show a color cover?
Did you embed this into the book (polish, modify EPUB) Lastly, if you are sending to device: Is it NOT SET TO SEND A b&w COVER. |
