Where can I see download statistics?

Someone posted on r/calibre (reddit) in February that there were so many posts of people trying to figure out how to liberate their books, and none of them having ever dealt with Calibre - they were wondering what the download statistics of it was for that time.

I myself would be interested in knowing the growth of users between the time Amazon posted they were dropping download and transfer to March 01 - and then to now.

I dont maintain historical statistics. There was a bump of about 400K users thanks to amazon's idiocy, but that has already faded and we are back to the long run calibre userbase of about 2.8 million active users. This has been stable for a very long time.

Almost certainly. I really doubt that anyone who has never been interested in managing their ebooks suddenly developed permanent interest in it just because Amazon disabled D&T.

What happens if Calibre is started with the internet off? Does it send the information later, or not at all?

calibre would send the information the next time you started calibre connected to the Internet. Basically, as long as you start calibre while online at least once every 59 days, your install should still be counted.
