Unhappy Problem with Kindle Comic Creator

Hello everyone.
I hope you can help me with this issue that is making me mad.
Sorry in advance in case this thread is already solved before because I didn’t find it searching in the forums.

I was used to manage Kindle comic creator (KCC) to build my own comics with panel view. However, I didn’t use it since a time ago and it was a surprise this software was unavailable anymore.
Nevertheless, I managed to download a version from the internet archive and it works partially.

The issue I found is, when applying the panel recognition, the zoom is located in a wrong area and I have to check every panel to adapt it correctly. This is a hard and unbearable task that requires a lot of effort and time. Besides, this didn’t happen when I was working before with KCC.

I’d like to know if I’m doing something wrong or missing any setup.

I’m running KCC in windows 11 with Xp compatibility because otherwise it crashed all the time. I can attach some pics if you need to clarify the problem.

I would like to mention that i have also tried kindle create but when it exports the kpf file, I don’t know how to convert it to save the panel view.

I’d appreciate if someone can help me with this.
Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you weren't using Kindle Comic Converter, one post down?

I haven’t found it. Is there a post with KCC another version to work?

I haven’t used kindle comic converter because it doesn’t allow you to establish the panels individually but it creates them in a specific format, otherwise dividing the page in four different sections or cbz images.

At least I don’t know if this software can manage individual panels.

Kindle Create supports panels. It's a program that replaced Kindle Comic Creator. Once you have KPF file (it needs to be created as a Comic in Kindle Creator), convert it into KFX, then sideload it to your device, and it should work. To activate panels, just double tap a panel.

Ask away, if you've any further questions.

ps. Using 'Send to Kindle' may or may not work. I've always just sideloaded my files using usb cable, since 'Send to Kindle' compresses the files too much.
