Calibre and Keyboard Issues

For the past month or so, I've been having keyboard issues after about 10 minutes of using Calibre. The keyboard will first become sluggish, and then become totally non-responsive. When I close Calibre, the KB operates normally until the next use of Calibre.

Any hints?

(1) I can run anything besides Calibre with no issues: Outlook, Office 365 (standalone version), Photo editing softwares, Edge and other browsers, etc.

(2) I have no keyboard helper apps.

(3) Malware Bytes (latest version) and Microsoft Defender show no malware infections on my PC and other attached drives. I am religious about keeping these updated and running scheduled scans.

Try safe mode and see how it works. If it works, it's something when you start the system.
