tolino shine color, with problems with pdfs/CBZ files

Last week, I bought a tolino shine color, in general I like the device, I come from a kindle 4, (with phisical buttons, yes I miss them), and in general I like and I think works pretty smooth. But I've got some problem, when you open a PDF (or a comic) you have this three buttons at the top panel in the zoom, that is zoom to wide match, zoom to height match, and "rotate". Well, none of the three work for me.

I've got the latest firmware installed. (5.8.216841)
I tried factory reset, I tried enabling the dev mode and switch to a kobo version, and I also tried Doing a big cleanup using the latest firmware from the repo of tolino findings.

Any idea what can be the problem? I look online and I didn't find anything (maybe because my german is not enough good), If I missed something, sorry.

I tried multiple files, one of the was a sample reading of Asterix from thalia.de. The other is the Tempest Dynasty artwork book (I thought was a good thing to do a good testing of the color screen, also is in an horizontal format), and some v of vendeta comics I had.

News, seems that it was updated today the firmware and the buttons disapear! That's really sad. I think this buttons should not be hard to implement and should make our life better.

I think I will need to end installing some alternative reader for pdfs and similar
