Discontinuing plugins - whats the process

Hi;

I am refactoring intellireading plugins and I will discontinue 2 plugins in favor of another one, since the current plugins create some confusion for users. Can you help clarify what would be the best way to ensure those 2 plugins are not published anymore, apart from removing the installation zip from the correspondent thread?

You can message any moderator and ask them to remove the entries for the plugins you want discontinued from the index of plugins, then calibre will no longer offer them for installation (after about an hour). In fact if you just post the links here one of the moderators will take care of it.

I want to discontinue the following plugins:
1)"[Filetype plugin] Epub Metaguider (intellireading)"

2) [Output Format Plugin] Epub Metaguider (intellireading)

they will still be available on github for advanced users.
Should I then delete or modify the plugin threads? Or just remove the zip?

You dont need to do anything once they are removed from the index calibre will stop offering them.
