I have a domestic chinese Leaf2 (leaf2_p) with 64gb internal storage. The other specs are same with leaf2, so I think it's possible, like leaf3/page

Screen goes blank
I got adb, so I try this (as in thread of Leaf3)

adb shell 
#id
#start autoupdate

Screen show start ttyscreen. Waiting for drive. Text is right side up
I use a 32gb type C drive to stick to device
It runs for like 4 sec then stop and fail
Here is the autolog in the drive. Could you have a look if I did anything wrong?

You can reconnect USB to PC and:

adb reboot

It should be still the same as it was.

The recovery seems to be working fine.
It's the update process that seems to be having a problem.

Sorry for late reply. I can reboot back to normal. I will try again and report back to you. My colleagues have a leaf2. I use Cpuz to check it's the same Soc, ram. Maybe the difference in storage causes the error?

I try again with another SDcard. Everything the same, recovery says waiting for drive, but cant flash. I attach another autolog. Hope you can find a solution

You can try to see if you can install the same Chinese software as a test.

Hi Renate. I downloaded the Leaf2_P rom and decrypted it by DeBoox using the model name Leaf2-cn (since when i try Leaf2_P deboox returns there's no such model). I have tried
1. Using the custom rec you gave me to flash the leaf2_P update.zip. The same error. I attached the autolog
2. After that I reboot into recovery again. I use

adb shell
#start recovery

to enter the default rec - Update from SD card - Error again
So no way to flash the Leaf2_P decrypted update.zip from custom rec or default rec.
I enter EDL and flash the raw backup I made beforehand through edl. Now it's back to normal. Just tell me what to do next

As a reality check I just built a new recovery for my Go6 and used it to install the latest Go6 update.
It installed correctly.

Edit: And I got it rooted and patched in a very short time and I can go back to my book!

I'm thinking that your device is confused about its update status.
I'm looking into this.

In the mean time should I try the process again? Install your custom rec- flash the update.zip to see if it works? Since I have the backup raw img
