Need help with KUAL

Hi, I am trying to install KUAL on my Colorsoft but am having no luck. When I run ;log mrpi I get a white screen and then after a bit it goes back to home page but no KUAL.

I tried the hotfix via update method but no luck

That screen suggests that your Colorsoft has not been jailbroken.

And could you please remove that oversized image. Go to advanced mode and use the Paperclip icon or Manage Attachments button so we see a thumbnail that can be clicked on to display the full size image.

Thank you, I will see if I am able to retry the jailbreak. Also thanks for the picture tip, I wasn't sure why it was so insanely huge.

If yes, and mrpi still doesn’t work:
Does the folder storage/extensions/MRInstaller/bin/KHF/ contain two files? fbink and kindletool

If not, then that means your unpacking software messed up, try another software to unpack the MRPI archive

(which by the way should be from https://fw.notmarek.com/khf/ )

Im not sure I got the hotfix to properly install, but I just checked and I see the 2 files you mentioned

Please check the log file in mrinstaller/logs folder - it will tell you why it is not showing up

I have a Colorsoft and reported the same problem previously. I suspect a bug in MRPI is preventing it from recognizing that the Colorsoft model is supported by those packages.

Rip, that's unfortunate. I hope it's something easy for them to fix, I got really excited when I saw that my Kindle was jailbreakable

At your own risk, you guys can try this version of MRPI that DOES NOT CHECK THE DEVICE VERSION: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...7&postcount=72

That means you must be 101% sure that the bin file is for your device!
