NickelMenu DeepL/GTranslate Window in Cyrillic

Hello, I installed NickelMenu and added translation options using Google Translate and DeepL. They work perfectly, but the text in the Cyrillic translation window doesn't look right – there's strange spacing between the letters. All the text is displayed in the Google Translate window, but in the DeepL window, letters or entire words are cut off at the end of each line. When I use the standard Kobo dictionary, the text looks perfectly normal.

I am using the following lines in the nickel menu file:

menu_item :selection:Google Translate:nickel_browser:modal:https://translate.google.com/m?sl=auto&tl=bg&q={1||%}
menu_item :selection eepL Translation :cmd_output :9999:/usr/bin/wget --header='Authorization: DeepL-Auth-Key $MyKey' --post-data='target_lang=BG&text={1|S|%}' -qO - https://api-free.deepl.com/v2/translate | jq '.translations[0].text' | fold -s -w 42

I tried to change the book font to Roboto, which should be fully Cyrillic-supported, but it had no effect.

Thank you in advance.

The easiest way here is to change the system fonts to those that support Cyrillic.

Hello, thank you for the advice.
I changed the fonts using the tutorial in #4
The spacing between the letters is fixed, but words are still getting cut off at the line ends.

It seems to me that this is a DeepL error.
