Reading Stats problem

Somehow, my reading stats were disabled since a few days, I only realized it yesterday evening.
My calendar view doesn't reflect reality and my OCD can't take it.
Is there an easy way to edit the reading statistics ?

Calendar view? Are you using KOReader? I haven't seen a calendar view in NickelReader

No, there is no easy way to retroactively update the statistics database for unrecorded read pages. You'd have to do SQL queries to the statistics database for each read page that was missed, in the exact format KOReader would have done it. (Disclaimer: And even if you tried this, I couldn't guarantee that this would work without causing other issues.)

Just for posterity:

I did modify the statistics and it's working fine.

I did migrate a LotR 1 to the 3 in 1 book of LotR and added stats for a new book (from another app which I used to track reading sessions).

How:

Open koreader/settings/statistics.sqlite3 with a SQLite Editor (I did use TablePlus - just because it's included in my Setapp subscription).

You find two relevant tables there: `book` and `page_stat_data`.
First you open `book` and search for the book you need to modify. Note down it's `id`.

Then you go into `page_stat_data` and search for the entries where the `id_book` is identical to the one from `book`.

The first column is the `id` from `book` then it's the `page` you've read.
`start_time` is the unix epoch when the page was opened.
`duration` is the time in seconds you were on the page.
`total_pages` is the number of pages in the book when the page was read (might change due to font size changes etc.)

So let's say you read book id `25` with 800 pages on 12th of February 2026 starting at 12:00 for 2 minutes and you were reading two pages (80 and 81) this is what you need to add:

25 80 1770897600 60 800
25 81 1770897660 60 800

1770897600 is the unix epoch. For the second line it's always epoch + time on page (60 = 2 minutes / 2 pages in seconds).

Then you add those to `page_stat_data`.

Finally you go into `book` again and update `total_read_time` and `total_read_pages` by adding 120 (2 minutes) and 2 pages to those columns.
You can skip this step since it's recalculated when the next timestamp is saved. (But better be safe than sorry)
