Cross compiling kobo
Hello I recently got a Libre Colour and wanted to tinker around a little bit. Since it is bare bones there is a lot to be desired with tools available. I was wondering if anyone has the recipe of dependencies needed to compile most binaries you would want to compile.
I see its using glibc 2.19 and its ARMv7 architecture (kind of old stuff). Is there anyone actively cross compiling software for their device and can shed some wisdom? I see that NuLuJe has their "stuff" collection which has a lot of..... well... stuff. I was going to pick and choose things from there to use, but wanted to use this as a learning exercise. So yea, basically new toy, want to play with it some, want to learn. Any advice is much appreciated. |

Yeah, a few people here are cross compiling software for their Kobo. NuLuJe is a great starting point. For a few binaries, I've used Buildroot successfully. Happy to share my configs if needed.
