Download & Transfer broken
Buy ebook.
Wait Go to Manage Content & Devices etc. Select Download on ebook. Pick the Kindle. It says success, but attempting to save file gives Quote:
A web browser reports window size. What idiots can't do "responsive" design? Tried several browsers and with script blocking off. |

It's not just you. I've had the same problem. Like you, I tried several browsers (and also two PCs).
In my case, the first attempt in any browser was met with a requirement to log in again. It's not the first time that D&T has broken - as you'll recall, it broke a few weeks ago. It's frustrating, but I'll guess that it'll be fixed by tomorrow. Meanwhile, it's not as if I'm desperately short of reading material. I only bought this morning's book because it's one that I want to read at some point and it was on special offer. |

Yes, it's really broken.
When you got o download via a Kindle (eInk), you cannot see any eBooks since the last time you synced. So any new eBooks cannot be downloaded. It works no problem on Amazon US. |

This aspect of the problem doesn't appear to be universal. The book I bought this morning (from Amazon UK) has downloaded by Wi-Fi to my Paperwhite.

The Nothing has spread. I had a little credit on my USA account so bought a 44c ebook. Previously today I could download existing books there,

When Quoth first posted about the issue with Amazon UK, I did try downloading a newly purchased eBook from Amazon US and it worked. That was earlier today. Now it's just as broken as Amazon UK.
Amazon US and AMazon UK are both broken. No way to download an eBook your Kindle has not previously seen at Amazon. And D&T won't work. So I would think Kindle apps are also broken. |

Broken for me in the US when trying to download a formerly downloaded book via "my kindle content" web page. I'm going to hold off on new purchases for now.
