Looking for a wishlist plugin

I seem to remember a (I believe) plugin that searched for books available at libraries and other sources. I used it on an old version of calibre (5? 3?).

You configured a list of those sources, your credentials for accessing them, and a library of "empty" book items with book titles, authors, etc.

You could then select the list or a subset therein and run a job that queried the sources returned the search results.

However, I can't remember the plugin name ("wishlist"?) or how to invoke it.

Does this ring any bells?

I never tried [GUI Plugin]Import List, but the description "This wizard-based plugin allows you to match existing or create empty books in calibre based on lists of books from external sources." did ring some bells

That sounds a lot like Overdrive Link. Despite the name, it can also search other places (like Freading, Amazon, etc.). It can find and mark books as available via Amazon Unlimited, Prime Reading, or just for sale at Amazon.

It can even do things like search for authors and create the empty book entries based on what it finds.
