Synchronising devices with Calibre

I've just set up Kobo Utilities in Calibre to synchronise percentage read and reading position (see screenshot attached). It's successfully pulled the data held on one e-reader. How, though, do I tell it to push that data to another device?

In some cases, device A will have more up to date reading positions, whilst for other books device B will. I want to hold the most up to date information for all books in Calibre and on all of my e-readers (as and when I connect them to Calibre, of course).

Jon, IMHO, you are right. OTOH, the question does involve a Kobo ereader and the question was asked here by a relatively new member, so answering the question along with a suggestion that further questions would be better posted in the Kobo Utilities plugin thread would have been a lot more useful and courteous.
