Post Koreader not opening on Kindle Basic 10th Generation
I tried to install diferent versions of the Koreader, the PW2, HF, Kindle, none of them work.

My Kindle is the KT4 G090 VB in firmware 5.17.1.0.3

i recently Jailbreak my kindle with the Winterbreak

Same for me... I just completed the Winterbreak JB and wanted to run KOReader. It blinks a bit, then goes back to the starpage of Kindle.
I tried the Kindle and PW2 VErsion (current and 2024.07).

My kindle is: PW11 with 5.17.1.0.3

Same thing here. I have installed the latest nightly kindlehf build of koreader (koreader-kindlehf-v2024.11-120-g65e4124e5_2025-01-02) but still no luck. Getting the following in the crash logs:

Firmware version is 5.17.1

The KOReader team is currently working on it. You could try Marek's koreader nightly builds in the meantime.

This is of course only if you're running firmware => 5.16.3. If you're running firmware below that you can download it from the official release page.

This worked for me also. Thanks so so much. It was driving me crazy. I had 0 problems getting everything up and running on my 11th gen paperwhite but could not find a Koreader version that worked on the 10th gen paperwhite. This solved the problem for me so thanks a ton!

For Marek's build, open the .targz file with 7-Zip if you are on Windows (right click on file, 7-Zip => Open archive, dig down a level to where you see the extensions and koreader folders. Copy those two folders to the root of your Kindle. For other OS, you can rename the file from .targz to .tar.gz and it should be openable.

Similarly to the others, I have a pw11, went through all the jailbreaking steps, no problem.
When I installed the latest stable koreader the icon was in kual but it wouldn't load.
I've tried maraka latest and the nightly and neither even show up in kual.
Any help or ideas?
Can someone tell me the exact koreader zip they used to get working on pw 11?
