Pocketbook Verse Pro - Disable touch screen
Hi,

I tried to disable the touch screen on my device like I could on the Pocketbook HD2, however I can't find the setting to make this happen.

I'd appreciate any and all advice on using this feature.

I don't think it exists in the newer firmwares. I'm sure there used to be an option (on my HD3) to add it to key mappings or gestures when using the default PocketBook reader app, but I can no longer see a corresponding option.

FYI you can still disable the touchscreen within KOReader. I have KOReader configured to have top corner presses set to touchscreen and DarkMode as on/off toggles.

You can do it in the settings, usually it’s mapped to the long press of the back button.

Go to Settings > Personalize > Key Mapping > EPUB, FB2 and Others. Here you can map "Touch screen lock" action to Back button, and it's the only button which allows it. The name is a bit misleading, but with this setup I can disable the touch input with long press of the Back button.

You're correct... It can only be applied to the back (hold) button press.
