kobo or kindle dictionaries convert to stardict

Is it possible to convert kobo and/or kindle dictionaries to stardict for use in koreader? There doesn't seem to be any monolingual options for major and historically relevant literary languages such as Italian and Castilian readily available in stardict format.

Hope anyone with more information or knowledge can chime in thank you

Thanks JSWolf, that's disappointing as the standard kobo dictionaries are quite comprehensive. Hoping someone else can elaborate further
