Mass file replace feature?
For context, I recently started resizing a few comics down and after doing it for a few big series (we're talking 80 volumes, where I had to replace the cbz manually), I realized I could do better quality and now I'm restarting from the beginning.
I'm now wondering if calibre has some sort of feature or plugin that'd allow me to select a list and then select a list of files to replace the books of (one file per book, select 80 books in calibre then select 80 files in my file explorer, they then get automatically added.). I'm mainly asking because I have other series that are over 100 books long and I dread having to manually replace it one by one. I also don't wish to lose all the metadata I've made on the books so deleting and re-adding is not an option. |

If you can do a little scripting, you can use the calibredb command to do this
calibredb add_format --help for details. |
