Looking at your images, why not just leave the output profile at tablet? I can't see many places where leaving the output profile at generic e-ink (600x800 display) or Default profile (1200x1600) would have many advantages over tablet which does no image resizing.
Also please use the Paperclip tool or Attach files option instead of using 3rd parties to store images. Many sites now block other sites from accessing those images. Also note that if you have previously converted a file, you will need to use the Edit metadata in bulk tool and check Remove stored conversion settings for selected books to remove the saved conversion settings. e-ink vs default
For some reason, the e-ink gives me 2 pages on a single "sheet"
(ie book pages 1 and 2 are on the same PDF Page) instead of a single page on a single sheet. I didn't see anywhere to change that. |

I meant why do you want to use the e-ink profile? Are you wanting the two page layout with other options? If so, you might want to ask for an option for that.
If you want to use Generic default, just set it in Preferences => Conversion => Common options and hit apply. This will apply to any conversions that do not already have saved conversion settings. Last edited by DNSB; 10-23-2024 at 06:32 PM. |

calibre does have a rather large number of settings, some of which are, IMO, odd locations.
