Verse Pro: No sound when pressing the play button in dictionary mode

In my Verse Pro, when I tried to play the sound of a word in dictionary mode, it did not work. It did not work either a headphone was paired or not. It did not asked me to pair a headphone for playing that. In addition, when I actually paired a headphone and try to play the sound, it does not work. There is just the animation of playing the sound after I pressed that button. I tried to restart the device, but it did not work. The tts mode itself worked fine.

Just tested and it works as expected on my device. I can hear a word in dictionary. I use Webster's 1913 v2 dictionary if that matters.

Thanks for your reply. It seems like that only built-in dictionaries work. I tried the built-in webster dictionary and it worked too. When I tried to switch to the sideloaded dictionary, it did not work.

Maybe it works in KOReader if you have it installed. I haven't tried though.
