Add folders with books to the library

Good afternoon everyone. It's been over 6 years since my last visit. Long story, beside the point. But here I am back because I have resumed using the program and the joy of reading.

I have a question. I have now recovered the library and configured the program to recognize and use it. But now I want to add other folders that I had on another drive. How should I add folders to the library? I had considered importing as epub, but there are a lot of folders. Is there any way to do it? I hope I have explained myself well. It's a pleasure to be here again. Kisses and blessings.

Thank you very much for responding so quickly. An additional query. The Caliber library is organized with folders with the name of the author and subfolders for each work, where the epub file, an image and another file whose extension I don't remember now are. I took out a copy of the entire library to back up, but I had forgotten that I had another, more up-to-date copy. I installed Caliber and configured the library with the old backup version, and now that I found the updated one, I want to add the missing folders. That is, several folders with the names of the authors and their respective subfolders in each one. Does the option you have indicated to me apply to this case?

You will get an error message about duplicate books for any books that are common to both. It might be better to set up another library, add the books from the newer library backup copy and then the books from the older backup copy.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too. It would be better, and simpler. Thank you very much for your support.
