Calibre AZW3 Conversion to PDF. Page image is very small.
Calibre AZW3 Conversion to PDF. Page image is very small.

Just as it says when I convert my AZW3 files to PDF the out PDF has very small images.

Is this a setting or plug-in that I am missing? It was not like this before.

I have attached images. Any advice would help. Thank you

Bit of a long shot, but if the AZW3 is reflowable, you might want to take a look at the PDF output options, what paper size is set? Preferences => Conversion => Output options => PDF.

Note that if you have already converted an ebook, the conversion settings will be saved. Easiest way to fix this is to select all books, right click => Edit metadata => Edit Metadata in bulk, check the Remove stored conversion settings for the selected books and click OK.

Thank you for the reply. I converted the same books before with no problem so I know it is not a file issue. I am setting up Calibre again and just tried converting old AZW3 files I had to make sure everything was working properly and I ran into this issue as I recently changed my computer and reinstalled Calibre from new. I guess I can go back into my Time Machine and open Calibre from a year ago and check the output settings.

Make sure Tablet and not any ereader is set on Page settings so images are not re-sized.

Thank you. I have tried all the settings and it still comes out the same way. Small image in the left corner. I use version 6.2.1. and it works fine for conversion. Not sure what the issue is but hopefully it will fix itself with future updates.

Convert to epub2 first and then check image properties/settings in the editor. Actual size of image, HTML <img class="something">, and the CSS for the class.
