Having trouble installing new release 7

I have downloaded and run 7.0.0 but when I start Calibre it still states upgrade available to 7.0.0

I also now cannot install the Kebub Input/Output plugins, or the KoboExtendedTouch (never had KoboExtendedTouch installed previosly).

For the Kobo Input I get

Having trouble for the very first time installing 7.0.0. It will download OK and load OK but it won't run at all. This is very strange as I have been using this program for years with no problem. Any ideas please? Make it as soon as possible please. Thank you so much. walkman1943

You told us little.

What OS?
What does 'load' mean? Install?
Was there any indication that Calibre tried to run (or is, but not showing the booklist)

Already replied to myself, I was trying to run an old release by mistake.
