Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881-1975) was a popular English comic writer. His books are usually set around pre-war upper-class English society.

"Not George Washington" (1907), written in collaboration with Herbert Westbrook, is a humorous, fictionalised account of Wodehouse's early years as a journalist. The story is told in first person, but by four different characters.

I created this version from the PG text, formatted with curly quotes, a TOC, etc. For those wanting to read this in a web browser, I include an index.zip file: just unzip this and the .epub file in the same directory, and open index.html (and modify index.css if you like).

Any kind of feedback is welcome.

EDIT (v2): Modified the drop caps code to make it work with Adobe Digital Editions (and the Sony reader).

EDIT (v3): Updated to pass epubcheck and to support the epub2pdf script.

After the discussion in this thread, I modified the drop caps code to make it work with Adobe Digital Editions (and the Sony reader). Uploaded v2.

Link works perfectly fine. Open the readme.html, in which you will find the download link, which I have just tested. No problem.
