html to docx footnotes

Hello ,

Can you help please , i need to link html footnotes in docx

i tried to add links with html like this

but it's not linked as footnotes

how can i do the trick please ?

html doesnt really have footnotes as such you cant convert them to docx automatically.

Thank you for answer ,

I know that hrml doesn't have footnotes , but may be theres command or code can create or convert html to footnotes

if not footnote like docx , i may be html links with refernce and content.

Yes, and that's better than "true" footnotes in Word or LO Writer. With notes inserted by "Insert Footnote", rather than adding a paragraph and linking to and fro with internal links/anchors (Bookmarks in WP), you can accidentally delete the note easily.

yes it does. A link is a link, it doesnt care what part of th etext it is in

There is a work around for creating "real" docx footnotes from html using LibreOffice. LibreOffice is able to turn links into footnotes if they are properly defined/formatted in the html file.

For instance, importing an html file with this code into LibreOffice

I did it once used this formatting with over 100 footnotes and it worked perfectly.
