Book awards metadata plugin would be nice!

I've been thinking it would be great to have a plugin which grabbed all the literary awards for a book on goodreads and put it into a custom column/field (#awards would probably be a good name). Or maybe just tacked it only the comments for a book.

Then you could set up a custom search for 'Hugo', 'Pulitzer', or 'Booker', etc.

I grabbed the goodreads_more_tags plugin code to see if I could wrap my head around how difficult this would be. Before I get to involved, does anyone know if anything like this exists already?

I realize this is a very old thread, but I just stumbled across it and thought it was worth following up.

Oddly enough, I recently released the first beta of a Calibre plugin that does pretty much what you were describing here.

Calibre Awards searches a number of literary award sources, including Hugo, Pulitzer, Nebula, Locus, World Fantasy and Nobel, and can optionally write selected results to a custom Calibre column.

What's funny is that I had never seen this post before developing the plugin. Reading your description from 2023 now is a little eerie.
