App for iPad nows allow you to mark up the book just like you would with the Elipsa, Sage. Choose different colors... etc

Yes! This is promising tech. I was going to post about that last week, but I got caught up with a deadline. Have you run it through it’s paces?

I’ve found syncing markup text to be as flakey as all other syncing from iOS apps to Kobo devices. When the markup from the iPad *does* sync, it appears as a markup symbol on the Elipsa, requiring a font settings change, though you can preview it harmlessly. Markups made on my Elipsa haven’t shown up on my iPad, however.

I can't figure out how to turn a page though. when I try to page turn it marks up the page instead ***EDIT*** i had to urn off the draw with fingers option.

Turning that off definitely makes using the pencil easier because it give you access to the touch commands while saving writing for the pencil.

I like having access to the colors and tools in Kobo’s app with the pencil, but I wish Kobo supported inter platform syncing better. Their website *claims* annotations will sync across platforms, but I haven’t found the Magic wand to make that happen consistently.
