Problem installing latest update on Windows
WIN 10
Calibre 64bit 6.18.1

Error:
"Error writing to file 138310.rbf"

I went to the PROPERTIES:

Unchecked READ ONLY

Gave FULL permissions to all listed USERS not greyed out

Now another RBF file gets the ERROR WRITING TO FILE

I suspect you security software is being nasty or you have tightened your settings someplace that prevents the install backup from being written
