Automatically run jobs when book is added

I'd like to know if there's a plugin or a calibre feature that would allow to me to automatically run a sequence of jobs and plugins when I first add a book. As of now I want to download metadata + covers and count pages, but there may be other jobs or plugins I wish to run in the future.
