Kobo App on Ipad
I've just added the Kobo app to my Ipad. What I want to know is how to add books both from Dropbox and from my desktop.

The instructions I've read from Kobo help do not seem to civer what I want to know. I would be grateful for any advice

Device: Kobo Mini, Libra Colour & Elipsa; Kindle Paperwhite 3 & 4; iOS apps
In Dropbox on your iPad, tap on the … icon on the right of your epub, then select "Save to Device". Kobo Books should be in the row of compatible apps. If not, select "Open in…" and select Kobo Books that way. The epub should immediately import into your Kobo Books app.

Thanks for the reply. My Dropbox on Ipad doesn't seem to be working at the moment. I'll try and reinstall it then I'll try your suggestions.
