Trouble loading books to Galaxy Tablet

Started using my Galaxy Tab 8" - SM-T290 recently to read my books as my Nook is on life support. Today when trying to load a few books to my external card, which I have done several times without difficulty, I starting getting an error message: C:\r\src\src\calibre\devices\mtp\windows\content_e numeration.cpp:718:Failed to write data to file, commit failed:[hr=0x80004005 wCode=0] Unspecified error

Im using Windows 10 and Calibre 6.11. When I ran a debug device and got these 2 attached messages. My device is not on ignore list either.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

That is an error communicating with the device. Usually, this kind of error can be fixed by
following the steps below in sequence. First:

1) Try rebooting both the device and your computer
2) If that does not work, find the files driveinfo.calibre and metadata.calibre on the device
and delete them (you can use Windows Explorer or a file manager on the device itself to do this)
3) Reset the device

Tried all the above without success, so I will try the wireless route. Calibre recognizes the Samsung tablet it just wont send anything to it via USB cable. Dont know why it worked fine 2 weeks ago and now it wont........
