Calibre 0.4.123 Won't Install

For some reason, I can't install 0.4.123. It gives me the following error:

Error in action ExecuteAction: Error in action InstallSelectedFiles: error deleting "D:/Program Files/calibre/.C84FDF72-63FD-451A-AE64-14B87D6712D3._ctypes.pyd": permission denied
Error in action ExecuteAction: Error in action InstallSelectedFiles: error deleting "D:/Program Files/calibre/.C84FDF72-63FD-451A-AE64-14B87D6712D3._ctypes.pyd": permission denied
while executing
"$obj execute"
(procedure "::InstallJammer::ExecuteActions" line 64)

You're trying to upgrade while calibre is still running

I had a similar problem, and I think it was because of the quick launch option. I was not aware of having Calibre open, but when a closed the quick launch Calibre icon the install worked ok.

Interesting; "Calibre" does indeed show on the Task Manager Process list, but I haven't run Calibre during this session. It appears on the Process list just after the installation proecss begins. Does the installation process initiated Calibre?
