[Help] Kobo Clara 2E Metadata not updating

Hi All, I recently moved from my Clara to Clara 2E, and I cannot get metadata on the device to update! I have the tags sorted in Calibre, and in the Device menu on Calibre it shows the right tags under the Collections menu. Just never on the device: neither Collections nor series update

For sending books to device, I have it set to automatic management. For plugins I have alternated between having Kobo Reader Device Interface, KoboTouch and KoboTouch extended enabled/disabled and every combination for the three.

For Device Interface I've tried with/without 'tags' in the extra customization

For Touch I've tried with and without 'tags' for the collections column

For Extended I've tried the same

Occasionally I get the following error:
