Load book to Aura H2O (edition 2) as "Finished"

This is probably a question about KoboUtilities, rather than Calibre.

I'm reloading some old books onto my H2O and would like to set their status to "Finished". Obviously I can do this one book at a time on the device itself, but is there a way of doing this in bulk when I'm loading the books?

Yes, see settings in Kobo Utilities. It can also create suitable columns if you don't have progress, status etc.
The Bookmark Sync option actually does more than bookmarks and is able to set progress & status on Kobo from columns or read from Kobo to columns. I used it just today to update books copied to a new Sage. Seems to work with any Kobo by default, but "profiles" can also be created. Brilliant work by recently Late Davidfor.

Simpler option, though a bit hidden: Update metadata in device library.

Ah, I forgot about that, because my focus was first to capture existing status on older Sage, which does need the other setup.

I've even used that!
