Nitpick - Reports
Make all numeric columns and their headers right justified, and use appropriate thousands separators in integers.

Which reports and which columns?
Not sure about thousands separator but will look into it. FYI, if the format of these reports are not to your liking, you can export them to csv and use Calc, Excel, or almost any spreadsheet to format the reports the way you desire. |

Then, when I looked at other reports there seemed to be some inconsistency on alignment. E.G. CSS Files has Size value right aligned, and its header left aligned, but the Times Used value and header next to it are both left aligned. Whilst I know how to wrangle a CSV into a spreadsheet and reformat it to my liking, there's an awful lot people who are bamboozled by spreadsheets - might correlate with those who get flummoxed by Styles ![]() BR |

Yep. Heading alignment should match with the text/numbers. So, in HTML Files Report, Left-Align: - Name - Well Formed and Right-Align everything other heading. Last edited by Tex2002ans; 11-17-2022 at 03:01 AM. |

Okay I finally got access to my desktop machine and I just took a look at the html files report. All counts are already aligned right, the file size is aligned right. And since it is a fixed format column with a width change marker, the headings are all aligned left.
This is as it is supposed to be. I will look into the other reports to see if some numeric columns being aligned right were missed. |

Okay based on current Sigil, the following numeric columns need to be aligned right. (headings will always be aligned left - I will not be changing that, see above.).
Code:
Image Report: Times Used Width Height Pixels CSS Report: Times Used Links Report: Line Characters Used Report: Decimal Hexidecimal As for 1000s indicator, I will look into that for file size and pixels but I can not really see it coming into play much with any of the Times Used, Hex, Decimal, or even Line number fields. Given the choice of shovelling snow out of my driveway or playing around with Sigil, I decided to play around with Sigil.
All numeric values in Reports are now aligned right. All headers are aligned left as before. This has been pushed to master. I am still looking into the thousands separator for file size and number of pixels. Hope this helps. |

It turns our file size in KB in all reports already supports the thousands separator.
So I added support for thousands separator in the Images Report to Image Width, Height, and Pixels. In the HTMLFiles Report, I added support for the thousands separator to Total Words, Misspelled Words, number of audio, video, images, stylesheets, and to the appropriate values in the totals row generated at the bottom. I have pushed this all to master. I still have not shovelled the driveway. Maybe it will melt? |
