Changing the font appearance on my Kobo

I would love to be able to tell calibre my preferred Font and Text Size when sideloading books to my device. I just don't know where to find that setting in Calibre. I've looked in several places in Preferences and I'm at a loss.

I'm using: Calibre version 6.7.1, KoboTouchExtend, Kobo Libra 2

On my device I have the text size exactly in the middle of the slider, and use Literata.

You cannot tell Calibre your preferred font or text size. One of the problems is that sometimes an eBook will not be using the default size and will instead specify a smaller text size. As to your preferred font, you just select that via the Aa menu. You might have to adjust the text size if you find it's smaller and adjust again when it's not smaller.
