Pocketbook doesnt store series numbers correctly
I have some series where the series-numbers in calibre are like this:
1 2 2.1 2.2 3 3.5 4 Pocketbook stores this numbers as integer: 1 2 2 2 3 3 4 which is obviously completely wrong! I tried setting this numbers correct inside the explorer-3.db and the numbers are shown correct in the PB Library. So its not a problem of the PB-db. Is it a kind of firmware-bug? Whatever plugin i use, the series-numbers never get stored correctly. Does any other person have the same problem? Is there any way to get that thing working the correct way? Thanks! |

I've been using the 'EpubMerge' plugin on Calibre. It makes an anthology of the series - so all the books are under 1 title and in order. The name of the new book becomes the series name and I just put Anthology at the end so I know what's going on.
Another idea is to just re-number the series into reading order rather than the proper number order. So instead of 2.1 in your example I would name that 3, and instead of 2.2 I'd name that 4, then 3 becomes 5 etc. Hopefully someone has a proper answer instead of these workarounds. |
