Anyone have the email address Kobo's discount/promo emails come from?

As far as I can tell I have my Kobo account set to send me emails about sales etc. but I haven't received any Kobo emails in quite a while. Does anyone have the email address that Kobo emails usually come from? Maybe I can try adding that to my email contacts in case emails are being filtered out somehow.

Most of the emails I receive from Kobo seem to be from news@shop.kobo.com. Hope that helps.

But wouldn't the email from Kobo land in your junk mail if it's not in the inbox?

I check the spam folder regularly and haven't seen it there.

I've had problems in the past with not being able to receive emails from a few places.

Twice I tried to join online forums that would send out a verification email I could never receive. Also had that problem when I first tried to sign up at healthcare.gov. Nothing in either my inbox or my spam folder. I eventually was able to get the healthcare one straightened out by calling and someone in the other end fixed it somehow.

I did used to receive Kobo emails, just recently realized I hadn't seen any in a while.

A possible solution is to create another email address either Gmail or Hotmail for when you have trouble receiving email to your primary account.

1) Go to Kobo's ACCOUNT SETTINGS and see if you haven't accidentally turned off EMAIL UPDATES.

2) Check your email service to see if you haven't accidentally BLOCKED them.

3) Did you change your web browser?

I don't want to have multiple email addresses and have to keep track of which one I use for what.

I've just checked again and my Kobo account settings is still set to allow emails.

I put the address Cootey provided in my email contacts. I guess time will tell if that helps.

This is strange. I looked in Outlook on my computer. I have a folder of read emails going back a long time. The last time I received a Kobo email about a sale was in January 2022. There was also an email in January 2022 about reading life.

The only Kobo email I've received since then was an email in August 2022 about Super Points. I don't know why I would receive an email about Super Points but not sale emails. They're from the same news@ address Cootey provided. I know some websites let you choose categories of emails you want to receive, but Kobo just has a general on/off toggle so it seems like if I can receive a Points email I should have received other promotional emails.
