Issue when downloading from Internet Archive OPDS

Hi there,

as the title states, I'm not able to download books from the OPDS catalog of the Internet Archive. The file is apparently downloadede, but it's not saved in the chosen directory.

This happens both on a Kindle (KT4) and on an Android device.

Please note that I have a subscription for the site.

Anybody could help?

Not without verbose debug logs, no ;o).

Right!

I activated the debug mode on the android device, but couldn't locate the .log file. Somebody could help, please?

A (quick) search in the forum didn't help...

I'd chuck the Android device out the window myself... But Help → Bug Report will generate it for you, unless you can run logcat over adb

OK, I can't really tell a verbose log form a non-verbose.

Here I am again, this time I made sure the "verbose" square was ticked.

That's unfortunately still not verbose ^^ (really, get one from the Kindle, that'll be easier ;p).

On the upside, I'm seeing the download starting, but never ending. Does the UI actually show a popup saying something?

On the Kindle there's no popup showing up.

On the Android device a popup says something like "Could not save file...".

Okay, the lack of UI on the Kindle is slightly curious, but that would possibly imply that it's returning an unexpected HTTP code (... which is possibly linked to you doing this as an authenticated user, as I'm pretty sure nobody's ever really tried that with that specific catalog ;p).

Which leads me to another question: Why the auth? Is this publicly accessible?
