page turn very slow
Paperwhite 6th gen firmware 5.12.2.2 (3791510038)

It become very sluggish on page turns. It takes several seconds which is annoying.

Any suggestions please or can I update the software or firmware? I have ample spare space.

Have you tried doing a factory reset? Or, if this just started very recently, it may be a recently added book that is causing it.

Does the slow page turn happen with one eBook or is is any eBook? If it's any eBook, then I agree with @shalym that it could be an eBook stuck indexing.

Here's how to check if you do have something stuck indexing.

Thank you. I found three recent titles not yet indexed and decided on a factory reset. Now i just need to find what I had unread on my Kindle!! Duh, sorted, all done, thaks

I may have had this problem very recently. It is sluggish, and the font looks glitchy while turning pages. A restart fixed the problem both times. Not sure what is causing this... hoping it doesn't happen too often.
